tomato soup cake with boiled caramel frosting

Simple and easy ! My whole family loves this recipe so much. If it were for them, I’d be making this every day! Give it a shot, you’ll love it!To Make this Recipe You’ Will Need the following ingredients:

 

INGREDIENTS

condensed tomato soup – 1 10.75oz can
baking soda – 1 tsp
butter – 1/3 cup
sugar – 1 cup
egg – 1, lightly beaten
flour – 1 1/2 cups
salt – 1/2 tsp
cinnamon – 1 tsp
nutmeg – 1/2 tsp, ground
ginger – 1/2 tsp, ground
raisins – 1 cup
for the icing:
butter – 1/2 cup
brown sugar – 1/2 cup
sweetened condensed milk – 1 can
vanilla extract – 1 tsp
fine sea salt – 1/2 tsp

 

Instructions

Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Mix well with a wire whisk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and allow to boil for one minute. Remove from heat and continue whisking while the frosting cools and becomes thick. (5 to 10 minutes.) Pour over cake, and working quickly, smooth over surface of cake until it drips down the sides.
